Hey guys, I'm trying to finish off my second set of terminators I'm making from the deathwing command squad boxxed set, with just another back torso, legs, 40mm base, and terminator honors you are able to make 2 full sets, but I'm having a hard time finding a reasonable price on ebay on the actual terminator honors, so what I was thinking is using these which are incredibly cheap (about half the price) and to me, they look very similar to terminator honors.

Anyway, just looking for opinions on if you think it would look noticable/tacky in an army. Here they are. They're black templar terminator shoulderpads

depending on how they are painted up, I think they would work fine and represent honors.

I guess somebody else thinks they look close enough as well, since 2 sets just sold since I made this topic lol

They say black templar to me but hey if it looks good to you then who cares?

I don't immediately think 'Terminator Honors', as others have said. However, many chapters have their own variants, and I'm sure there are multiple ones. If they were painted up an on the left shoulder, it'd be pretty obvious they were honors.

They look close enough to me, especially if you don't paint them in BT colours.

I have to agree with everyone. Paint them up on the left side and they could pass a Termi honors.

They're going to be for a command squad of deathwing terminators. I may be able to paint in the lines in between, there is just the one that doesn't look quite right.

I'm entirely too anal to use anything but regular Terminator honor pads to show, well, Terminator honors. Since it's a question about personal preference and aesthetics, it's up to you really, but personally I wouldn't use them as such. Also, something people slightly less anal than myself might notice: there's a notch cut out on the front facing side of Terminator shoulderpads, and not on the back. It'll look a little odd.
