Lo' all

i'm currently writing/re-writing/discussing Eldar/Dark Eldar lists to take to Battle brothers, i'm running a saim hann style exodite army (all the Jetbike cold-ones and 2 vypers) but while looking into my previous idea/points cost of jetseer/council deathstar i thought this may not work.

So while i was looking at alternatives i saw Eldrad, at first i thought. No jetbike? no include. But after looking at it again my army is very much the supportive element (al though primary) fore to a already quick Dark eldar list

We have it as roughly;

2 raiders full of warriors with blaster (one at 9 for the archon/duke. depends on what he chooses, obv. includes racks)
Ravager
6 reaver jetbikes with heat lances

While with eldrad it would be;

Eldrad, Farseer and 2 locks for HQ (spears everywhere)

2 units of 5-6 windriders

2-3 vypers with (ATM) bright lances (potentially changing to S-laser if we feel we have enough tank hunting)

TL;DR

Eldrad in a unit of warriors/raider (potentially Duke's unit?) viable?

Eldrad cannot embark dark eldar transports so no, not good. Embarked on a serpent, he can only use blessing/maledictions on his unit and transport.

To get the best use of eldrad, he needs to be on foot with a resilient unit. 20 guardians or wraithguard or something similar.

Thanks for clearing that one up hyv, i remember reading that he could using bless/male' on his unit/transport while embarked

could look into dropping one Jbike squad making one dedicated unit with the lock's, that'd flesh the unit out

as for eldrad, wave serpent/wraithguard with a spiritseer to make them scoring in a Serpent, or would you advise a footdar eldrad approach
