I'm making a Space Marine army that I'm themeing after Cerberus from Mass Effect and I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with printed waterslide paper.
I'd like to fill a sheet with the cerberus logo for shoulderpads and the side of my Stormtalon.

I've not done DIY decals myself (yet) but treated properly, they should give good results.

The only thing to be aware of is that the ink can get smudged if it gets wet and isn't sealed properly, so they need more careful handling than commercially made until they've got a coat of varnish on them.

The correct statement of individual rights is that everyone has the right to an opinion, but crucially, that opinion can be roundly ignored and even made fun of, particularly if it is demonstrably nonsense!” Professor Brian Cox

For serious. I just use Micro Set and some brush on gloss varnish to get my transfers applied, but I've never used Micro Sol. Regardless, at the very least get Micro Set and some varnish to put over the model once you're done.

Hope you don't mind me asking here if anyone knows people who could print them, I just don't want to invest the money into the paper and mess it up myself. The ones I'm doing are posted on the net, I'm just looking for convenience.

Back to the question....I've seen them used and the person said they were easy, but he didn't print them either .
