The chaplain! I have no skill whatsoever in paintin black so the black is kinda dull..

Some assault marines! did some minor GS'ing on them not alot, making a coat grey/white-ish isnt my strong point, any tips would be awesome.

And first up my... Something, with a combi melta! (I thought of using him as a crusader squad Sword brother with combi melta.. But i don't think i can take a banner then. What should i use him as?

Its still only painted black.. So its kind of hard to see but im pleased with him

And the others

I like it. It's a nice touch with the robes on the marine.

The Riptide can't be a giant death robot, its completely lacking a sword or massive chainsaw. All giant death robots have swords or massive chainsaws.

Thanks! I like it aswell, at first i went for a color similar to that of the purity seals but then decided that it was too boring and went with grey instead, looks way more appropriate!

I like the color scheme you are doing. A subtle edge highlight on the chaplain will make it a little more dynamic. Are you taking the pictures with your phone? The focus seems to be picking the background of the shots opposed to the foreground/miniatures your actually trying to have in focus. sorry for the slight nit-pick

I particularly like the robed guy with the jet-pack. I think the jetpack would probably burn off all of his robes.... but it looks cool Just like robes would probably be a bad idea on a biker... still looks cool.

Good work

I have major difficulty with black to be honest, i tried edge higlighting it with white but it was too much, should i mix some grey together or maybe even dark grey, working towards lighter grey?
Its taken with my ipad2, im still fooling around with taking pictures and the ipad isnt great for it either.. But i learned a few things here and there, trying to put all advice to practice! Thanks for the tips
