So I've got an Iron Hands libby that I'm putting a jump pack on. I know codex standard would be to paint the libby blue (ultramarine) with a black shoulder pad to show the chapter. I'm fine with that, as I like to stick to the codex for my painting. But what color should the jump pack be? Seems like the jump pack would come from the Iron Hands Armoury, so it should be black. But that might look a little weird with the blue power armor.

any thoughts/suggestions?

Paint it blue, Chaplains from say, the Imp Fists wear black armour and jump packs even if their jump pack comes from the Imp Fists Armoury.

Regardless from which armory something comes, I think the mechanicum is able to repaint everything as they like.

Yeah that jumppack would probably be reserved for use by the libby, and could therefor be painted blue.
