So I'm currently playing in a campaign in my FLGS, and every three weeks the point allowances go up, to what is now 1000pts. I'm playing as Necrons and am surrounded on a little island by 2 eldar and an IG player. The Eldar are bent on fighting me as they get bonuses when they beat Eldar and vice versa.

What I'm facing now from the Eldar leads me to believe I'll be facing at least one wraithguard, and wave serpents (DUH it is Eldar).

Anyways, this is what I'm considering for my list that starts September 29.

First of all, the army cannot be done this way, you cant use Crypteks without a overlord...

Szeras is really bad... I see what you want to do what about this:

Will fit right into your 1000 points,

Gives you 2 flyers, 4 teslas, and crapton on gaussshots, they haywire teks are there to counter any armour you want dead asap, with 5 warriors they will reliably kill a Raider but also a Serpent.

You will also match the number of shots of about any army you encounter.

The overlord will be a beast on this points range, but will ensure people think about running forward with some deadly hth thing ...

Thanks, this is actually pretty decent, I'll have to proxy for a NS though (only have one for some absurd reason). I only wanted Szeras as he was the cheapest HQ in the codex (100pts).
