Hi,

I bought a bunch of magnets on Ebay, and ended up using several of them on the plastic kits I'm assembling for my Black Templar and Empire armies. To show my friends and fellow gamers how I did it, I make videos of the finished result and upload to youtube.

Feel free to visit my channel, and comment on either site with suggestions for improvement.

List of videos in this series so far:
1 - Razorback/Rhino
2 - Karl Franz on Deathclaw

Coming up:
3. Drop pod
4. Land raider Crusader/Redeemer

Thanks

las^se

Probably work

Wow. I think magnetizing the rectangular hatch on the back was a little overboard (I usually just let that rest, if you're not overturning your rhino, it shouldn't ever fall off), but your method for doing the razorback turret itself is brilliant. For some reason, I never thought of having a free spinning anchor magnet on the underside of the turrets.

For the cupolas, I normally use larger magnets, glue a chunk of sprue on the underside similar to your free spinning anchor, and just glue a magnet to the center of the cupola top, though I usually have to shave down the cupola for that to actually work.

As my cupolas wouldn't be compatible with your method, I can't use that, but consider the razorback turret idea stolen.

Neat! I may use this idea, if I ever get my vehicles built.

daedalus: Thanks for your reply. I may have went overboard with the magnets, but I really like it being sturdy during gameplay and storing. I'm very happy that one of my ideas inspired you

SBG: Don't just sit there! Get those plastic bits flying

I would love to, but haven't planned any Centurions for my army yet. Soon ready to record the drop pod and land raider videos though.
