Hi!
I am completely new to WH40k, my only experience is the battle between my friend and another guy, but it looks very fun to me. So I decided to collect my own IG army to play with my 2 friends who have Blood Angels and Space Wolves (just for fun). Ok, this little introduction os over, so my list:

Pure Firepower

HQ (200 pts)
Lord Castellan Creed (90 pts)
CCS (50 pts)
Astropath (30 pts)
Master Of Ordnance (30 pts)

Elites (125 pts)
Stormtrooper Squad
(Srg with Power Weapon, 2x Plasma Gun) (125 pts)

Troops (185 pts)
Veteran Squad (3x Plasma Gun) (115 pts)
Veteran Squad (70 pts)

Fast Attack (260 pts)
2x Vendetta (3x Twin-Linked Lascannons) (260 pts)

Heavy Support (730 pts)
Leman Russ Battle Tank (Hull Heavy Bolter) (150 pts)
2x Leman Russ Demolisher (Hull Heavy Bolter) (330 pts)
2x Basilisk (Hull Heavy Bolter) (250 pts)

Total: 1500 pts

Thanks to Creed, my Demolishers will go from Outflank (Astropath will take care for the right side), hopefully crushing everything on their path. LRBT will behave as a mobile artillery. Niether LR have sponsons, cause they have Ordnance weapon. Two Basilisk with Master of Ordnance should take care about those Marines that are on the table, while Demolishers with Vendettas should destroy every unit that will Deep Strike (Dreadnoughts, Terminators etc). Veterans are a cover for my artillery and HQ from assaulting Deep Striking Units (just cannon fodder) and Kasrkins... well, they really looks great, so maybe will put some confusion to my enemy army, thanks to their Infiltration rule.
I will be very grateful for any comments and reviews of this list. This will be my first army (I've just started byuing models - Vendettas, hell, yeah!, looks fantastic), so I can easily overlook something.
For now I am also thinking about this changes:
- dropping Demolishers and taking 2 Banewolves (auto-wounding every Infantry except Terminators looks fine, plus they are more agile - LR cannot chase enemy, but Hellhounds yes)
- exchanging Basilisks for Medusas (Str 10, AP 2 is cool, but cannot fire indirectly, which can be serious issue)
- I was thinking about Manticore, but AP 4 looks poor againts Marines
- Sniper models are interestings, but I am wondering if Snipers are really usefull

Again, thanks in advance for all your comments!

This us very troop light. To Winn games you're going to hope to table your opponent every game which will not happen. Look into veterans with max plasma in chimeras with vendettas
