Today I did a search for "edge of the empire" exactly as it appears there (without the quotes). No results turned up, so I started a new thread to ask about it. I check back later to see a response with links to two other threads with "edge of the empire" in the titles, and my thread locked (as it should have been). No idea why the search function didn't turn the other threads up.

Per other threads, words with fewer than four letters are ignored in searches for performance reasons.

As far as your actual issue? No clue. Were the other threads relatively new? Maybe they weren't indexed yet.

The search engine does not index things with less than 2 letters. As such, no phrase with 2 letter words (Throne of Skulls, etc) will return results. This is a major bug that I am well aware of and I can only apologise for the time being. Searching for Edge Empire might yield some results but when generic words are used (Throne Skulls) it leads to endless false positives that can be a chore to look through.
