Lately I have been playing withthe idea of running a CSM army that is heavy on Terminators and Obliterators, mostly because I like the models, but also to field an army that hits very hard
and is extremely tough to kill. However I really don't know a solid way to approach this. I have been messing around with unit combinations such as:

5x Terminators, MoN, 4x Combi melta/plas, and a heavy flamer. Deepstrike those in, possibly with an identical terminator squad with meltas and an autocannon.
3 pairs of MoN Obliterators
Termicide squads
Death Machine Daemon Prince
Landraider with Plague marine + rhino support.
Typhus/Zombies

Anyone have any ideas/success with a heavy 2+ CSM list? Or any ideas on an extremely tough and durable list that can pack a punch?

Also to be clear I'm looking mostly for semi-competitive ideas, but am open to fluffy ideas as well.

I have 2 similar lists that work for me so here they are.

Prince
Nurgle lord/bike
-5 Spawn
5 termies w/combi plas
5 termies w/ combi plas
3 x 5 plague marines
Heldrake
Oblits

Typhus + 4 termies +raider
3 x 5 Plague Marines
Obliters
Heldrake
Termies x 5

Sometimes i add
LAS pred
additional heldrake
Vindi

I move the plague marines onto objectives and generally keep them there. Everything moves forwards and the oblits and heldrake shoot stuff. The problem is that tau/dar will jst destroy the second list by killing everything before it gets to them.

Having a prince w/ wings and a bike/spawn unit is pretty nice against tau/dar. I wouldnt take 6 obliterators.

I like the first list more than the second one, the first just seems very solid and I have run something similar to the second against a Tau player and he blew me off the table. The second, why bring Typhus when you aren't bring zombies?

I feel about the same on zombies, I would probably be taking them if I didn't. I'm going to try something similar to the first list sometime soon. Seems very strong and fast.
