Played against my buddy this weekend and he destroyed my rhino but not all the units that were inside of it, does that count as first blood?

Yep, unfortunately it does mean the 1st Blood. Transports really got slapped in 6th edition.

So if you get to go first, go 12", then Flat Out 6". At least then the dudes can either get out next turn and go for some Linebreaker possibility, or they get exploded out, and do the same thing....unless they get Stunned, in which case they may suffer other effects to slow them down.

Yes, the rhino and whatever inside are seperate units.

linebreaker is checked at the end of the game. It is not the 1st model to enter the enemy deployment zone.

Theres a stupid argument about it not beimg removed as a casualty if its wrecked, but apart from that it counts for first blood

The fluff is like ketchup and mustard on a burger. Yes it's desirable, yes it makes things better, but no it doesn't fundamentally change what you're eating and no you shouldn't just drown the whole meal in it.
