So, I'm starting a business trip today in Phoenix for 2 months. I don't have any stuff with me, but it would be great to find all the local FLGS's and such so I could meet up on a game night or something and hang out with some gamery folks.
Any suggestions?

you can always take the drive out to the Battlefoam store and save yourself a buttload on their shipping rates.
There is also Game Depot in Tempe which seems to have decent reviews.

Imperial Outpost is there as well, and since Phoenix is quite a sprawl it might be closer to wherever you land- http://imperialoutpostgames.blogspot.com/
And kind of a hike in Sierra Vista, but they are hosting a gaming event mid November if you are going to be there for two months- http://www.orbitalgames.net/

Imperial Outpost Games is a great place, but it's a bit of a drive from Mesa: 4920 West Thunderbird Road, Glendale, AZ 85306. You can call them at 602-978-0467. I have been here several times. They have a great staff, and a very active gaming community.
Right in Mesa, there is Empire Games at 1766 South Greenfield Road, Suite 102, Mesa, AZ 85206. Their phone number is 480-813-1525. I've been there once, and it's a great place. I don't know how they are with gaming, perhaps someone will chime in on that.
In Scottsdale (not too far from Mesa), is my favorite place: Games Workshop (one of their retail stores), located at 15678 North Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd. Suite C2, Scottsdale, AZ 85260. They may be reached at 480-767-2078. The manager there is probably the finest example of what an enthusiast/GW salesman should be. So you get a fantastic resource, first rate service, plenty of great goodies to choose from, and a very fun and energetic gaming community.
The bottom line is that you'll be able to find what you're looking for without traveling to the far corners of the state.

If you wanted to see a "$#$hole I would send you a picture of my butt. . Avoid battle foam.
Empire games is the place you want to be in mesa/gilbert border.
Game depot is great too however it's in tempe. Empire always has players and has over 15 highly detailed tables, GW terrain large selection of merchandise with warhammer, war machine and much more.

Thanks for all the replies everybody! It looks like Empire Games is closes to where I'm at. What days does everybody go and hang out up there, (or anywhere really).
And if anybody wants to be a really cool cat and has two armies and they don't mind me pushin' one against them, I'd love to get a game in while I'm here.
Also, I'm down to just hang out with some folks and talk games and such as well. There are a number of good waterin' holes around as well I noticed.

I mainly do 40k, but I know enough rules in both Warmahordes and Fantasy to hopefully put up a good fight.
