Hello Dakkians...Dakkites...Dakkensians.........Hello Dakka Dakka!
Just wanted to say a quick hello as way of intro. Been hanging around for a couple of months, but thought I'd finally get down and post!
Used to paint/play when I was at school, but stopped when I was about 15. Was much more into the painting side back then and never really had an 'army' as such, but just had loads of models I thought were cool! Space Wolves made up the bulk of them though, so I suppose that was my army of choice.
A couple of months ago, after chatting with a colleague at work about the miniature modelling he does, and also seeing the incredibly impressive things my dad is doing with his miniature railway he is currently building, I decided to get back into
40k. Had a good look around at what the armies were these days and instantly took a liking to the Tau who were a completely new army to me as they weren't around before I left. Even then going on to read how everyone seems to hate them didn't put me off as they just look cool, I like the backstory, and they seem like a fun army to play.
So, went and bought my first box of firewarriors and a vast amount of paint, glue, and tools and set about it. The results of Fire Warrior #1

As mentioned, mainly painted when I was younger and only played a handful of games with probably mostly made up rules. Going to try to get much much more into the gaming side this time, although will probably be a 60/40 split in favour of the painting/modelling.
So yeah, that's me. I'm looking forward to getting stuck in!
