So I like to build stuff, base things, and tie my armies together. I have made display boards for both of my warhammer armies and would like to get to work on one for my Khador. Right now I am thinking trenches on my Winterguard infantry, or something like them storming past trenches, and then my Man-O-War to be half on cobble streets or tile, with the warjacks and warcasters to be on streets and street corners. The idea is like the Khador army slowly making its way into a city, whether I will do a unafiliated city, Menoth, or Cygnar city is still undecided.

What do you guys think so far of this idea? How can I make it better.

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

Some heavily destroyed buildings, craters, and jack wrecks covered with snow. You can buy the PP wreck markers and just have them as terrain.

Northguard. If I was every going to spend time and money on a display board, it'd be based around Northguard. Either in the Trenches outside it (among other places NQ49 has a description of the sort of atmosphere in the scenario bit), or the fortress itself. So many choices, and so much awesome.

I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own...

How many models/what points value are we talking about here?
If there are colossals and swathes of infantry and a dozen or so jacks then yeah a fortress/city gates storming could be cool.
If we're talking about 20 or so models tops then have them clearing a bombed out warehouse/jack factory or something?

Oli: Can I be an orc?
Everyone: No.
Oli: But it fits through the doors, Look!

I am talking a board that should house my full Khador army right now that is quite a few men, but I plan on getting more very soon. I am going to do some premeasurements when I get home this weekend and see what size the board will need to be.

There are atleast 30 models and 4 jacks, I will also be adding a conquest to the mix as well.

I have gotten to work on the trench part at least of this board. I am not sure however where to look for more city walls and gates that are more warmachine themed.

I suggest you leave yourself room to grow. If you don't leave extra space you'll be kicking yourself when the next great unit is released and you have no room for it on your display board.

Sure thing @darefsky I replied as well.
@Dais The display board is only meant for these current models and then I have room to expand either to another part of the city, whether that be another front outside or within.
