I've got a 750 pt campaign coming up and I'm taking my Tyranids.

With the Nid codex out in the next few months, I decided to limit myself to this list until the new stuff was released.

Hive Tyrant: Two Psychic Powers from Biomancy; twin-linked devourers with brainleech worms; twin-linked devourers with brainleech worms; bonded exoskeleton; wings. 260

10 Termagants 50

The Scuttling Swarm Tervigon: Three Psychic Powers from Biomancy; scything talons. 195

750 points

Any pointers and critique are welcome.

This is only my second ever Tyranid list and my first game with it is in two weeks.

Wherever they tell me

Seems pretty cookie cutter to me. You've got the staples of the army and with three TMCs (one flying) so any opponent (other than DEldar or Space Wolves) is going to have a really hard time countering this.

Personally I wouldn't take that kind of list at 750. I don't think it'd be much fun because you've only got three kinds of bugs :(

A more fun list at 750 to me would be:
Close Combat Flyrant - 230
3 Hive Guard - 100
11 Termagants - 55
Tervigon with three powers - 195
20 Hormagaunts - 120

Not nearly as competitive, but I think it'd be more fun to use. Granted, that's just the kind of player that I am though.

Super tough list. Especially at 750. I doubt any army will be able to handle that. DE have a chance, but I just don't think they can bring the firepower to take out all 3 bigguns

Regular Eldar and DE are what bother me the most.

I've never beaten them. Eldar since Rogue Trader have been a thorn in my side.

They always seem to be able to beat me.

The new Marines are going to be a headache too, unless I swamp their bike squads in Gaunts, tying them up until the MC get into CC.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
As for new stuff and additions, I'll have to wait for the new book.
