On Friday September 27th every PDF paper model and terrain kit by Dave Graffam Models will be marked down to just $1.00 US. [This offer is good at Wargame Vault, RPGNow and DriveThruRPG. This sale does not apply to the Budget Bundle (which will be specially marked at $20), but all other Bundles will reflect the $1-per-model price. The sale will actually run for about 48 hours to accommodate all time zones.]
A great-looking tabletop doesn’t have to cost a fortune in plastic models, paint, brushes, flocking and all the rest. In fact you can set up a whole village of paper models for about the cost of a single plastic model kit, and in about the same time it takes to do a nice paint job on a few minis. All you need is some cardstock paper to print on, a hobby knife, metal ruler, cutting mat and some paper glue (I use Aleene’s Fast Grab Tacky Glue). You can add foamcore backing to your models to make them more sturdy, but you’ll find that cardstock has plenty of strength.
Sharpen that mouse-clickin’ finger because there are more than 100 Dave Graffam Models kits to choose from, and many of them offer multiple texture layers that can be mix-and-matched however you like. That means you can create several unique-looking models from just one kit. That’s a lot of bang for your buck.
But you don’t even need a dollar! Download one of my free model kits and see what’s possible.

Dave Graffam Models has been around since 2009, and I’ve been steadily building up a catalog of some of my favorite types of structures, vehicles and ground textures — the same sort of stuff I would use to run my own games.
