I was wondering if there were any Necron books out there that incorporate their new fluff and the named characters mentioned. Can anyone name a few for me?

Straight out of the package new to 40k models & gaming. Though know the lore pretty well.

Shred City.

Not many named characters mentioned, but the Codex obviously has some bad ass stories for each of them.

For Necron fluff though, grab Fall of Orpheus, Dead Men Walking, Caves of Ice, Nightbringer (not a ton, but some), Xenology (trust me, don't want to spoil it), Fall of Damnos.

I may have missed some.

Not Nightbringer. Nightbringer is just plain awful and the only Necrony thing in it is the Nightbringer waking up and running away from a Space Marine Captain with a krak grenade... who betrays all of his oaths to say "You can kill me, but if I die, this grenade goes off and you get buried down here for another thousand years. Do you really want to take that risk?" and lets him go.

Besides, it's oldcron.

The best Newcron fluff novels are Fall of Damnos and Hammer and Anvil. For non-novels, Fall of Orpheus is good.

Caves of Ice doesn't really have much Necron fluff... just lots of "Oh, crap, Necrons!!" from Cain, heh.

Another vote for fall of Damnos and hammer and anvil. Both are good stories
