So there was a thread here that had some great artwork posted to it that ended up locked due to behavior choices. I'm willing to post up a new version of the thread for the simple fact that I really enjoyed some of the things that were posted to it. I only look up Tyranid stuff myself but that's not due to a lack of interest in other faction artwork. So I'll post this thread with three stipulations.
1. Try to keep this thread to actual artwork. Personal drawings are welcome but try to stay away from pictures of models
2. Keep negative opinions to yourself. We all have different tastes, if you don't like it just keep it to yourself.
3. 40k stuff only, the less main stream the better. While codex covers may look awesome, chances are we have all seen them before.
I'll start off, images in spoiler to cut down on size.

This Tau one has always been a favourite of mine. The comparison between the veteran and the greenhorn.

Someone should tell the one on the right that his suit is apparently burning though.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised. |

Awwww yeah. I've got me a load of SoB art to post. I'll seperate it all into a few different posts, since my SoB art folder is 378 files big, and it's tedious to navigate through it and get them all made into imgur links.
To start, some of the more badass art I have seen:

Order of the Righteous Armour - 542 points so far. |

Here's some Screamers...screaming. Technically, this would be WHFB setting, but let's pretend this is a world the Imperium didn't find yet.

Space Wolves: 3770
Orks: 3000
Chaos Daemons: 1750
Warriors of Chaos: 2000

xruslanx, that first one makes me think of Big Daddy/Little Sister from Bioshock.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.
