Lets just say that I'm underwhelmed with the details on these miniatures.

Quoted for truth. I am not looking forward to future releases if they are of this quality.

Only now do I realize how much I prefer Pete Haines' "misprints" to Gav Thorpe's "brainfarts." :Abadabadoobaddon

They are, however, relatively accurate tot hose shown in the show. I would've liked to see some with large visible bay 'orifices' perhaps. to break up the smooth shapes.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

I think painting the hulls darker colors would have also helped. The brightness just doesn't suit.

From what I remember, the "honey" color is mostly accurate to the canon ships. They're mostly seen in the TV movie "A Call to Arms" and a few episodes of B5 Season 5 and B5: Crusade.

They should, ideally, be in a very organic scheme with some mottling, I believe. It's been a while since I've seen it.

Mongoose seems to have had a run of bad luck with painting and models. I think a few of the SST designs looked much better when a more skilled painter got their hands on the minis.

Not that I'm as good a painter as Mongoose's less skilled painter...
