the exalted reward herald takes grimoire and uses on Fateweaver for 2++ re-rolling 1's and fateweaver uses free re-roll per turn to re roll failed attempts, the heralds take flickering fire and either divination or if they can forwarning the prince takes portalglyph to spawn new horrors and flickering fire and 2 biomancy rolls the horrors with icon deepstrike in opponments deployment zone and uses icon to stop flamers scattering with 6'' of it and also any other units if i deepstrike them to, soulgrinder is main AA and elite unit killer

ive played this list many times people always target him firrsst off he is my warlord second i get my re rolls on the warp storm when hes alive aive and that has saved me many times it won me a game last week to third his re roll per turn is helpfull and fourth he is a great psyker so i like to keep him alive this tactic has rarely failed me

Sorry I didn't realise you'd played this list before. To me it just seems very weak and I was wondering how you'd make it work as you mentioned deep striking 11 horrors into the enemy deployment zone along with the 3 flamers which would give you just 2 units of 11 horrors on the board from turn 1 with presumably the Daemon Prince in flying reserve too? If you are starting Fateweaver on the board you'd be pretty much reliant on getting first turn to get the 2+ invulnerable save up and running and then would need to keep him close to the herald with the grimoire for the duration which in my experience with just 11 horrors protecting the herald the grimoire will be taken out of the game by turn two leaving Fateweaver a big sitting duck/bird.

3 flamers will last not a turn, especially if your dropping them into firing range of enemy deployment zone. 1 Daemon Prince is pretty my dead if your opponents is running a quad gun on the turn it shows up as you have nothing else for your opponent to target. The soul grinder will take lascannon shots or anything strength 7 and above from turn 1 as you have nothing else to be targeted either. Awful list.

Personally, I think Flamers are only best in groups of 5-6 now that they are not as powerful as they used to be.

I think those points are best spent on more Horrors!

I am interested to know how you use your 3 flamers, though. I feel like they can't reliably kill a unit unless you're fighting horde armies. I have 6 Flamers and they are fully painted, but have been sitting sideline for a while. I want to use them.

the prince starts this list is very strong the way i play it i dont lose often again i use the horrors to deepstrike if i need to but the flamers are destraction unit really to allow my FMC's to get across the board Fateweaver stays near the grimoire but not to close and 11 horrors actually works well to
