Here in Norway the witch elf box is more than twice as much as the corsairs. Is it the same everywhere else? It almost seems like an oversight or a bad joke.

ahhh, yes, another GW price thread...
listen, we don't have control over the prices of things. If you thonk anonymously complaining about it on the internet will affect a change, you are living in a bigger fantasy than we thought.
If you can't afford an item, either save up or don't buy it. I want a Ferrari, but it's out of my price range. Complaining about it won't lower the price.

I also asked a question in addition to the complaint. I really wanna know if it's the same everywhere else, because this is extreme even for GW, and that's beside the fact that they already gouge us Norwegians on price as it is.

Well I just hope that Witches aren't one of the must take units. One unit of them costs 240$+.

Well, they're a little cheaper than Raging Heroes Blood Vestals, so there's that at least.
Pick whichever minis you like the look of the most.
£20 for 10 core infantry isn't so great either.
If you're in for GW games, accept the pricing or use alternate miniatures.
If you want a real budget option, Wargames Factory Amazons could do the trick.
There's also gamezone who have released some of their dark elves in resin plastic at a very affordable price (around £20 for 30 minis with command).
There's no real point in complaining about it when we are spoilt for choice with the wargaming world these days.

Us Canucks are paying $70/box - that's inline with what the Aussi's & Kiwi's are getting dinged for...
So while Euros pricing is bad, at least you're not the worst.
And yes, Witch Elves are super expensive because you're getting 2 units in one box, one of which is a Rare choice. I don't think GW really expects people to go out and field 80-100+ Witch Elves, so unlike other Core, they've priced 'em like a combined Special/Rare unit.
Or else they're hoping that there's enough people out there who don't care about finances and just pick-up those 80-100+ Witch Elves anyways?!

GW Witch Elves cost 45 €, 35 £ and 60 $ for 10 miniatures in 5 different poses.
Raging Heroes Blood Vestals cost 41.90 €, about 34.75 £, and 56.12 $ (todays currency values) for 10 miniatures in 10 different poses.
The new Warrior box gives you 3 units in one box for almost half the price, at least one of them also a standard troop that you need masses of

Eh, yeah, the prices annoy me too, since they're pretty cool models. I'll wait for the Army Book to be released though, they could turn out to be a really bad unit.

windir83 didn't go on any rant or long complaint, he/she was asking a question, and you answer with this? This is really a disrespectful comment for someone who was just asking a question, if YOU don't like these threads then ignore them, you have brought nothing interesting or useful to this thread with this comment so please keep it to yourself.
OT now: Here in America they are $60 a box for ten, I thought they were pricy too, in particular wince the dreadspear/multibox is only $35. But as other said you might not need as many of them, and at least its only one overpriced unit rather than the whole army.

They're expensive because GW expects them to be a decently selling unit, either based on the aesthetics (I have to say, they look rather gorgeous), unit stats and battlefield performance, or both.
They seem to be priced around other armies Special units, like Grave Guard, Tomb Guard, Temple Guard and Shadow Guard/Sisters of Averlon, which could mean Sisters of Slaughter are Special choices and the Witch Elves are just suffering from being dual kitted with a unit in a different slot.
