Since you have to be a lottery winner to field Egyptians and the Syrian list isn't released I think I may go with Jordanians. This is my first attempt at a 1,000 point list.

Jordanian Saraya Mudr'e (Confident Trained - 1,000 points)

HQ
2x Centurion = 195

Combat Platoons
2x Centurion = 195
2x Centurion = 195

Weapons Platoons
2x M42 = 70

Support Platoons
3x Rifle Squads = 175
6x 25 pdr = 155

985/1,000 points with five platoons. I'm not happy with the number of platoons but the list is very limited.

Looks legit. Similar to mwnciboo's too - Centurions look like the way to go?

When are the Syrians coming out? Is that mentioned in the article? Haven't read the magazine yet.

Also, is 1000 points the standard for FOAN? It appears it gives a good mix of stuff.

Centurions were purely an aesthetic choice, it's only 30 points less to field the same number of M48s. I think the M48 may turn out to be the superior tank due to its increased speed and better anti infantry capability. Where as stabilisers will only be useful when you're up close.

1,000 seemed a good compromise for starting battles and mwnciboo said his group were playing 1,000 points. I'm the only person in my group to have written a list so far.

Hey guys, I was looking at the Centurions again and they have side armour 6 and are Unreliable...

I'm seriously thinking of dropping down the AT and upping the FP values and going the M48 Route?

The icing on the cake is that it's points cheaper. Your thoughts...
