Quick question for the dakkamind:

If a unit with the Scout USR that also benefits from jink saves chooses to redeploy via scout, does it receive its jink saves on turn 1 as if it had moved previously??

Did it move or did it deploy?

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.

Unless you've got first turn, keep that sucker in cover.

And even then be careful, because sometimes jerks like to steal initiative.

arent scout movements after stealing initiative anyway? i'll have to reread that

But no, they are redeploying not moving. This also works to allow units with Heavy weapons to move up and still shoot normally because they didnt "move" such as Pathfinders using markerlights
