So I never had much interest in marines, but with the new codex I'm considering giving them a try. I actually saw this list on an old post from a few months back and made my own version:
Master of the Forge: The Shield Eternal; combi-flamer.
Ironclad Dreadnought: power fist (built-in heavy flamer).
• Drop Pod

10 Tactical Marines: meltagun; multi-melta.

The idea is all the Ironclads come in first turn, since they're tougher. Once they've softened thing up, the TAC's follow in turn 2. I get the impression people tend not to like Ironclads, but It seems to me a lot of interceptor fire is Str 7, so that extra armor will come in handy. I'm not sure whether this would be better as a Salamanders or Iron Hands chapter, but I figure I can try it both ways.
