So yeah I was thinking of using a 30 man blob. In advance sorry for the long post. anyway the list:

Connah's Quay, North Wales

Its a good start, as basically nothing will uproot the blob if its camped on an objective and the Leman russ will be very resilient. The Vendetta will be a good way to take objectives though. My only advise would be to possibly drop the Heavy Bolters and take a Primaras Psyker instead of the Command squad, because the boost in firepower is substantial (Average of 2 multilasers shooting from the 1 guy) who has some variability by taking biomancy or telepathy if needed for shriek or chancing for enfeeble/endurance.

I just don't think adding an extra shot to a 10 man las gun squad and some snap firing heavy bolters is worth having the extra damage and variability of a psyker.

A blob is nothing without a commissar, fearless character, or some marine to give them and they shall know no fear. Otherwise the blob will get assault and swept away in a turn or run off the board when the smallest amount of fire comes your way.
