I'm amazed that you can field an Epic formation in what is essentially a company level game......

Very cool. I like. It may not be the most optimized list I've seen, but dang intimidating and if someone's not ready it'll carve them up fast.

I like this concept. Though, I feel the points on the sponsons for the LRBT's are wasted as they are all firing snap shots.

What about.....

3 LRBT - 450

1 Punisher w/ pask and bolters, 2 exterminator w bolters - 590

3 Vanquisher w/ lascannon, bolters - 570

This gives you the AoE unit, the anti-infantry/MC unit, and the anti-armor unit. And with the bolters on the vanqs, they can still assist with infantry destruction once armor has been wiped out.

Awesome! I have played a list very similar except with a lord commissar and less bolster sponsons. It's intimidating and can really put a lot of firepower on your opponent but once they close the gap assault and melta weapons just end the day lol.

Also once your blast weapons start scattering it really can ruin a turn of shooting.

It is awesome that you can get basically a tank company in a standard list.

Try the Armoured Battlegroup list from Forge World. With it, if you really want, you can field nothing but Leman Russ tanks!

Btw, the "hooker bomb" aka the great exquisite promenade is only 700 pointsish for a apoc formation

That's 60 damonettes w/ attack after deep strike and 4+ rending...and the masque, who can nerf overwatch

As soon as you said this I was thinking of making a melta list trying to squeeze as many melta shots in for as little as possible
something like
x6 tactical squads melta combi-melta rhino
Now the debate is IH or Vulcan, I know something around 30 twin linked melta shots In 1 round is scary.
