Looks solid - Flyers will wait until the last turn to offload to the objectives? Who are you attaching the Dlords to?

The DLords will go with the Wraiths. And yes, the troops wait until the last turn to claim/contest objectives,if any.

Ugh .........

Where is the fun in this played out list...? I just dont get it. Sure, the list is going to win games ... but you're going to annoy your opponents, and it cant be fun playing cheese...

However this is "The List" when it comes to necrons, although most people go with immortals.

I have fun lists for every day use. But i designed this list to win tournaments. http://imgur.com/mtreJi7 this is the type of list i ran against this weekend. the kid that ran it was a WAAC player. I've noticed there was a lot of these kinds of players at tournaments. So I figured, if they can be cheese mongers, why can't I?

True that! I guess if others are going to do it, "if you cant beat them, join them" is in order.

That's what i'm thinking. I'm thinking this will be a fast moving and hard hitting list.

I'm thinking, "If the assault phase is gone, where did the game go?"

This list is very similar to what a friend of mine is running, and it's a pain to play against.

In fact, I think it's identical to what he was running to begin with (with 3x Wraiths instead of the FW dudes). After a while, though, he dropped the Annihilation Barges in favour of beefing up the guys in the Scythes. This has two advantages; first, he doesn't give up first blood as easily (at 2k at least one AB goes down pretty quickly), second, if going first he gets more durable units who the opponent has a much harder time sweeping off of objectives.

What? OP has more than 1,000 points invested in close combat units... What else do you want?

Are you allowed to use acanthrites in this tournament? It is an FW unit, sometimes people get picky. I'd stick the d lord with them to get preferred enemy on their shooting + to tank for them and consider dumping all your whips and bribing the wraiths down to 5 man's to get all 9 acanthrites.

You may want to look into squeezing in a comm relay somehow, you have 4 things in reserve and you typically want to see them all turn 2.
