A new Australian miniatures company is just starting up. Ex Manus studios is launching via the Indiegogo crowd-funding platform, and seeks to create quality, lead alloy miniatures for roleplayers, wargames, and miniature enthusiasts. Check out our campaign here: http://igg.me/at/ExManus

Our first collection is 6 (expanding to 10) miniatures depicting classic fantasy archetypes in our own unique style, with a limited edition mascot as well. While they are intended primarily for RPGs, they can also add a unique flare to a fantasy wargame army, as independant characters or unit champions. We have plenty of Awesome perks for our backers, and big plans for the future, so please check us out.

I am a long time wargamer and roleplayer, and I've a great enthusiasm for all things 'miniatures'. While I have been sculpting for years; doing private commissions and gifts for friends, I have never before attempted to make the jump to a commercial enterprise. But, I am hoping that, with your support, that we can make this dream a reality.

[PS: I'm hoping this is the right place for this, I'm happy to relocate or remove if it is not.]

We are entering our final week of the Indiegogo campaign. Though we are not all the way there yet, we are optimistic about reaching our goals, and shipping rewards to our generous backers.

With only a week to go, now is the best time to get onboard, and the last chance to get some of the limited edition rewards available only during this campaign.

In additional news; due to unexpected (and positive) developments, we have been able to bring some of the stretch goals forward and can now include the Gnome Dancer and Gnome Swindler as an official part of the collection! Check out the images of them on the Indiegogo page.

Time is running out! So check us out at: http://igg.me/at/ExManus

I moved your thread to News & Rumours because it looks applicable to tabletop wargaming in general.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

You really really really need a better painter....

The first elf looks like he has those stick on boggley eyes.

I'm not a snob, I'm no masterclass.....but those paint jobs wouldturn me away from them even if i was into fantasy...

There is a word for a wargamer with an empty paint bench.

Dead.

Ex Manus Studios - The Classic Collection, has hit their funding goal on Indiegogo with only hours to spare! We are deeply grateful to our awesome backers and look forward to becoming a vibrant part of the gaming / miniatures community.

Hitting this goal also allows us to reveal the 2 Orc models that will be added to the collection if we should reach our first stretch goal. Behold the Orc Berserker (on the left) and the Orc Totemist (on the right).

There is still a few hours in the campaign, and we still have a number of awesome, limited edition rewards available, so it is still worth checking us out if you haven't done so already!
