So, like the title says, I'm making my own colors for my CSM Warband, but I can't seem to come up with anything good. I know they're going to be followers of the pantheon, but other than that I got nothing. I was thinking of doing something simple for the sigil, like a horned skull, or a pair of crossed weapons, something I could freehand on each shoulder guard.

I have a few loose color scheme ideas:

Dark blue armor
Silver trim
Bronze helmet

Dark red armor
Black/Silver trim

Brown-green armor
Bone trim

And that's kinda it. Not really sure how much I like those, though.
If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate it

I'd start by looking at other peoples stuff to get an idea on what colours look good when painted. I'd then paint 3/4 marines in a veriety of colours and pick one to settle on, GW do a pack of 3 chaos marines for £6 which is a bargin if you know you are going to mess up some paint jobs (and cant be bothered stripping the ones you don't like).

This is Basically Word bearers, But I did mine with Gold trim because I liked it better, just go with colours that fit and you like .
