Hey guys, ive been toying with the idea of equipping my wolf lord with a lightning claw and a frost axe, for re rolling through power armour, or being S6 on ap 2. I was going to go for the either/or option, but since I know a good few people with a love for terminators I was wondering if the having both option would work better? admittedly only having the two claws will get me six attacks, and having an axe will still only get me five on the charge so to have both would still be ok id reckon. im not sure if I could split my attacks or not but that's for another time.

any advice on this would be useful as im sick of my wolf lord getting squished lol

Why not a storm shield?

Edited to add, more specifically, why not artificer armor and a storm shield.

he normally has the belt of russ, so he normally lasts a while, but its the fact that he cant scratch terminators. so I thought having the choice would be interesting to try but it makes him expensive

although the storm shield never occurred to me as I usually give that to my battle leader with his TH.

If you are already using a wolf claw take a power fist instead of the axe, you get higher strenght and the bonus attack from two specialist weapons at no additional cost.
