I started buying 40k things just before 6th hit, and finalized a planned list slightly after. I got distracted by other things, and suddenly a year has gone by and three new codexes are out. I still haven't finished buying everything I need, and would like some advice. My planned list is below:

1 Company Command Squad with Lascannon
3 Basilisk
2 Veteran Squads with three Melta and Shotguns
1 Veteran Squad with Harker, Forward Sentries, launchers and a heavy bolter
2 Vendetta
1085 pts

Allies
1 Saint Celestine
1 Battle Sister Squad with two melta and a Rhino
1 Seraphim Squadwith two double hand flamers
415 pts

The idea is that my Basilisks will be able to hit anything anywhere, and do decent damage regardless of the target. The Melta Vets get dropped wherever they need to be in order to melta things or grab objectives last minute. Harker et al will sit on a back or midfield objective in cover and laugh at everything that isn't flamers. Vendettas are mobility + anti air. Saint Celestine and the Seraphim have 5 flamers that reroll to wound (on a successful faith check) IIRC, and will maul infantry and eat fire that would hurt elsewhere. The BSS is an extra slightly tougher Troops unit that has decent mobility, and if I'm clever I'll give them spot lights so that my basilisks can murder with impunity during night fighting.

What am I missing? What is going to be the bane of my existence, and how can I prepare for it in the list building stage?
