Hey all,
I might be moving to Horsham, PA soon and was wondering if anyone plays Infinity and/or Warhammer(40k and Fantasy) in that area. I know its near phillie but even then i do not know any places near there.

Any ideas?

Not sure about the immediate area, but I used to live in Philly and now live in Delaware County which are both pretty close. When I was in philly I always played at redcaps corner which is a nice spot, cool staff and the local colleges as well as a gaming club called PAGE draw a good crowd there:

.
There's a place called Alternate Universes in Blue Bell (they also have a location in Folsom PA right near where I live). They have a monthly tournament that draws a nice mix of players and armies:

There's also a GW in Northeast that is fairly close to you.

Hey,

There are three game stores in that area: Brave New World, 7th Dimension Games, and another on Rt 611 that I can't recall the name. They all have groups that play 40k, although I think 7th Dimension runs more on FOW.

I'm in Philly about 35 mins from Horsham, and I have a friend who lives in Horsham, and we do a lot of basement gaming (historicals - FOW, ACW, Moderns, Nappies, Ancients, - and 40k and Fantasy).

I can pass along his info (and mine) if you're interested, drop me a PM.

Stomping grounds in hatboro pa is about 10 minutes from you and has a huge 40k GRP. There are a lot of casual and competitive players and you can pretty much get a game in any time during the week. There are 6 4x8 tables set up at all times. The store is large enough to hold magic and warhammer so you never have to take a back seat to the magic players

The store on 611 is probably the *old* Brave New World since the old landlords never took down the sign. I am in Hatifled, PA. Around Horsham, there is Brave new Worlds in Willow Grove. Not sure what their GW gaming is like anymore. They do carry a good supply of kits, though and few blisters. 7th Dimension games is in Jenkintown. Majority of the mini action there these days is Flames of War, Malifaux and Warmachine. There are 40k players in that bunch, but not much happens organized in the store for GW games these days. They don't carry any GW games in the store and sold their remaining stock to the next store. Then there is Stomping Grounds in Hatboro, which has a dozen or more tables and hosts regularly GW related nights each week. They also have a decent selection of GW products in house for WFB and 40k.

From there, there are more options a little further afield with The Compleat Strategist in King of Prussia, though I don't know their schedule, and Showcase Comics in Bryn Mawr. GW gaming is alive and well at Showcase Comics, though I don't get down there to play much so don't know their schedule either. With the PA turnpike access in Willow Grove you can be to either of those locations in about 30 minutes or so from Horsham. Both also carry large selections of WFB and 40k product.

I used to do FoW every Sunday at 7th Dimension, as a good friend owns the store, but have been more spotty of late. Primarily get my 40k gaming in on the 4x8 table I have at home instead.
