Hey Dakka, we've got a 1750pts Tournament here in November in order to raise money for Help for Heroes and this is a list I've been refining for a number of weeks. I think it's pretty much ready to rock, but I'm posting it on here in case anyone else can see anything glaringly wrong that I've missed. Thanks in advance!

1. Farseer - 160pts.
w/ Eldar Jetbike, Singing Spear, Mantle of the Laughing God.

2. Spiritseer - 70pts.

3. Wraithguard Squad - 210pts.
w/ D-Scythes.

- Wave Serpent - 155pts.
w/ TL - Scatter Laser, Shuriken Cannon, Holo-fields, Ghostwalk Matrix.

4. Wraithguard Squad - 160pts.
w/ Wraithcannons.

- Wave Serpent - 155pts.
w/ TL - Scatter Laser, Shuriken Cannon, Holo-fields, Ghostwalk Matrix.

5. Wraithguard Squad - 160pts.
w/ Wraithcannons.

- Wave Serpent - 155pts.
w/ TL - Scatter Laser, Shuriken Cannon, Holo-fields, Ghostwalk Matrix.

6. Crimson Hunter - 180pts.
w/ Crimson Hunter Exarch.

7. Warp Spider Squad - 172pts.
w/ 8 x Members, Exarch; Fast Shot.

8. Falcon - 170pts.
w/ Scatter Laser, Shuriken Cannon, Holo-fields, Ghostwalk Matrix.

Total = 1747pts.

It looks pretty solid. The ghostwalk matricies are nice if your plan to engage in cover shennagians, but you could just as well drop them...however, not much else to get so hopefully you will get some boards with favorable terrain.

Remember to keep the spiritseer with the wraithcannon guard. The spirit mark won't benefit the scythes, but they do make the cannons more accurate.

You could drop the spider exarch for another spider, but if you like the utility of the exarch for challenges, Bs5, called shots etc go for it.

Why the falcon? Nothing in your army bar the spiritseer can even get in the thing. It is a decent shooty tank, but expensive for what you are getting. Could get a fire prism/nightspinner and some toys instead.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

I second the Fire Prims. It gets you some long range Anti-Tank/TEQ/MEQ. It's just such a useful tank overall. A Fire Prism with Holo-Fields and a Shuicannon is 150pts, if memory serves, which leaves you just over 20 points left. You could get the Spirit Stone (I still find this very useful, despite many opinions I've seen on the contrary) or another Warp Spider.

Other than that, it's a good list. Nice work!

Looks pretty good overall!

I'm not crazy about the Ghostwalk Matrices, but they can be useful if you go second and you have a ruin that you can obscure your grav-tanks in. In almost every other instance, you'll have your Jink save anyway, so no need for actual cover. Just remember that vehicles don't get cover saves simply for being in area terrain/ruins, they have to be obscured 25% as normal.

I'm also not crazy about the Warp Spider Exarch, I'd generally rather spend the 20 points from upgrade+Fast Shot to get another body. The 9th member also means a morale check on 3 down instead of 2 down.

Small nitpicks though, overall it looks great and good luck!

i am also confused with falcons. wave serpents are better nearly 90% of time, and fire prism even more. Also very expensive for falcon. any plan for farseer? he really doesnt have alot to giude, which emilinates 2 out of the three primarius powers he can have. might want to consider laughingtaurch instead. not nesicary, just something to think about.
