like every BA player out there I am trying to compose a list that can handle themselves on the board.
The models used in the list or some of my personal favorites and therefore not necessarily competitive.

Libby (standard BA powers like Shield)

Assault Squad (5) without jumppacks, flamer/meltabombs in Droppod
Assault Squad (5) without jumppacks, flamer/meltabombs in Droppod
Assault Squad (5) without jumppacks, flamer in Landraider with Lascannon sponsoons

Sanguinary Priest on Bike
Sternguard (10), 8x Combi-Melta in Droppod

Baal Predator with Assault Cannon & Heavy Bolter sponsoons
Baal Predator with Assault Cannon & Heavy Bolter sponsoons
Bike Squad (7) with 2x Meltagun

Vindicator with dozerblade

Total is 1850

I like the Droppod's for first kill / heavy threat unit in enemy deployment while the rest moves closer.
There is the option to change the bike squad for a Stormraven Gunship but I am very unlucky when it comes to reserve rolls (even on a 3+)

Let me know what you think of this list.

Im in love with ravens so might be a bit biased.
One worry you might have is that if the two podded units get wiped (and lets face it they often will) you will have only one scoring unit left (albeit in a landraider).
Dual vindis is always nice as are baals for support. In all my time i've never even considered fnp furious charge BA bikes! Do they work well on the table?
Combat squadding the sternguard I take it (2 squads of 4 melta - very nice). Wheres the libby running? Landraider? In the pods he'll give away StW.
So the main weakness really is lack of scoring/bodies on the board. But i've been trying to come up with a death co army this week so I'm one to talk :-p. Oh and without a raven or allies - AA.

The Libby sits in the Landraider and casts Shield on the tanks, the Priest on the Bike is mainly to keep them alive a little bit longer (FnP), still works against plasma and melta with their T5. Sternguard combat squad so 2x4 combi-melta it is, I know I have to be carefull with the squads in the pods but they can support the Sternguard or hide in cover close to objectives. The twin-linked goodness on the Baals and Landraider can give some (even little) support against flyers. And I love the twin Vindie goodness.

This list is in desperate need of Corbulo. Also, without combis the Sternguard aren't even worth taking. Get some more troops too, 15 T4 3+ bodies ain't gonna cut it.

You can't really put enough bodies on the table compared to the new marine codex. The new marine codex put the nails in the BA coffin.
