You'll have to forgive me for not having the exact same verbage as the Space Marine codex, but the Ultramarines have a kinda nifty doctrine. Their devastator doctrine allows (for one turn) devastators to count as relentless, provided they did not disembark from a transport in the turn the rule is used. Does this apply to centurion devastators, as well? The wording doesn't state that it applies only to the unit 'devastator', and both units can take transports (to reference the devastator doctrine). It might be a little fickle, and I can see both sides of the argument.

Spoiler:
Honestly, I just want to know so I can either paint my centurions Ultramarine Blue, et all, or Black Templar...black.

Centurion devastators are always relentless. It's one of their USR's.

Centurion Devastators have the Slow and Purposeful rule anyway so it doesn't matter whether or not they'd get Relentless.

For what it's worth - the Imperial Fists Chapter Tactics specifically calls out Devastators *AND* Centurion Devastators, identifying them as separate entities. So no, Ultramarines don't get the benefit from Chapter Tactics... good job they already have it.

Well, not quite. SAP is good, but not as good as Relentless.

No, they never have relentless.

They have Slow and purposeful which does not grant relentless(just the wording of the relentless rules with some other bits).

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

SAP is relentless's illiterate paint drinking cousin. It's what turns a giant points sink like centurion devs into assault magnets.

Ya I was going off memory which is never a good thing. I knew they had the ability to move and fire I just didn't remember it was from SAP and not strictly relentless.
