Hi Dakka,

I've left my BRB at home, but have the electronic version with me. In the electronic version the FOC on Pg 212 shows the allied detachment with only 1 compulsory troop - but it has no optional troop units. The implication is that the you can only have 1 troop unit in the allied detachment. However, in Pg 213 under the second para of "Allied Detachments" it refers to 1 HQ and "at least one troops selection".

I assume the chart in the electronic version is wrong and the allied detachment can have multiple troops. Can someone look up the BRB version and tell me how many troops the allied detachment can have please?

Thanks

Or is everyone playing it wrong and you are only allowed 1 troop in the allied detachment?

[edit: because a stupid thought that everyone is playing it wrong occurred to me]

There should be a diagram with a second greyed-out box behind the 1 mandatory troops section.

I have a peanut allergy. It's really inconsiderate.

"Long ago in a distant land, I, M'kar, the shape-shifting Master of Chaos, unleashed an unspeakable evil! But a foolish Grey Knight warrior wielding a magic sword stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in space and flung him into the Warp, where my evil is law! Now the fool seeks to return to real-space, and undo the evil that is Chaos!"

Thanks, that was what I thought. For interest, there is no greyed out box behind the mandatory troop in the Electronic BRB.
