Heloooo! 1st post on Dakka Dakka

I dont play in tournements as of yet, nor do i play against the BEST of players, though i would love to build up to that at some point and some other higher end players, while keeping a healthy amount of wraith in my force (mostly down to the fact i just love them). I am prepered to drop some or all wraith blades to to shift points about but the wraith guard and knight is more solidified in my list. That being said i would still love to hear suggestions as i am open minded I typicaly play against Dark Angels, Space wolfs and salamanders so SM's on the whole! But looking to expand my horison i dont want to focus on them too much. Anyway enough said, here goes..

Autarch = 95pts
-Fustion gun
-Warp Jump Generator

Spirit seer = 70pts

x6 Wraith Guard = 252pts
-DScythes

x7 Wraith Blades = 224pts
Ghost Axe + Force Shield

x4 Jet Bikes = 68pts

x4 Jet Bikes = 68pts

Wave Serpent = 135pts
-Scatter Laser
-Vectored engines

Crimson Hunter = 180pts
-Exarch
-Bright Lances

x7 Warp Spiders = 178pts
-Exarch
-Spinneret Rifel
-Fast Shot
-Marksmans Eye

x8 Dark Reapers = 280pts
-Exarch
-Eldar Missile Launcher
-Flack
-Fast shot

Wraith Knight = 300pts
-Suncannon + Shield
-Scatter laser

TOTAL = 1850pts

Baisic set up...
- Wraith Blades act as a bunker for spirit seer who in turn should buff the unit along the way with what ever it can. The unit will move for the hardest objective the oponent will possibly want to take, proferably the one with cover for me.
- Wraith guard are in the wave serpent, eliminate eliets on foot or scoring units, and possibly claim objectives since they're troops in my list.
- Reapers shoot anything that moves (ground or air) and tend to hang somewhere about the wraith blades.
- Autarch is in the warp spider unit, adding the melta weapon makes them mid and now even a heavy armour killer.
- The rest of the units are pretty much self explanitory.

I dont NEED a total competetive list, but my eyes are open to it. I think what im trying to say is, if this list were to go abit further what would you do to it?

You're PC's fu is good.. but can it play Crysis?

first off, welcome to dakka!

your list looks good, but i dont feel good about those reapers. putting so many points into that unit, and it will die real easy. dont bother with flakk missiles, they wont do squat. 2 S7 missiles, wont do anything vs any flier, and the rest of the squad would then have to snap shot. i would definitly drop flakk missiles, and possbly drop hte whole squad, maybe for a 10 man blade squad, and making spider squad a 10 man.

your wave serpents needs holo feilds, and shuiken cannon, vectored engines is ok.

I am not a fan of Autarch with Warp Jump. It places him in a unit that is not benefiting from his statline/abilities that they can't already do well enough in themselves without the Autarch. If running him solo, far too fragile. Jetbiking him and attaching to one of those squads would be a better option, IMO.

The Dark Reapers are a little large for their use, I'd trim the squad back and use those points elsewhere.

Just a heads up that you shouldn't expect your solo Serpent to last long being the only Armor on the board at the beginning....even with the Wraith Knight. They'll ignore the W-Knight for a turn more than likely and make your Serpent pay the price.

great advice! specialy about the "solo serpent" i hadn't thought about that. I have to admit in my experience reapers have been fantastic however i am on here asking about what i dont know. So..
..iv'e had a look at droping those reapers completly as this is as it goes for a 1st shift to the list.

Also whats the verdict on the wraith blades with ghost axe and shield? i feel like there a good tough unit to have with some good staying power for objectives .. so far in the games iv'e had, they dont get much attention but they hold well when they do, but this only within a small circle of friends. what do you think their odds are over all?

wraithblade are good, better with characters to back em up.

fire dragons need all upgrades dropped. what will 7 melta shots kill that 5 wont?

no need to pay extra, those dragons will kill whatever anyways.
