Good Afternoon Dakka, i won't go on as i usually do so ill get straight to the point;

I have to build a allies force for my friends Dark Eldar, and with my main force being Tau i decided to roll a Exodar force (this was to be my main army)

So far i pretty much have everything i need on our current list;
- 1 x Farseer (need one more)
- 4 x Warlocks
- 8 x Windriders
- 2 x Vypers (at the moment)

Although i am eyeing up the new Dark elf kits with a bit of desire, looking at the potential of a striking scorp's unit built out of Dark elf Witches

Also, unheard of from me, i have pics to prove that this project/idea is actually moving forwards



The locks currently in conversion process (sliced in half, greened up to smooth the transition between legs/robes



The "Jetbikes" cleared them with the Events team, they are allowed Nothing major, mounted on 30mm bases



Latest Haul, wonder what my vypers are gonna be built from . _ .

Also apologies about the pictures taken with a potatoe, been using my phone to grab pictures while im free

Been hard pressed finding spare time to get into building theses guys, luckily i've got a bit of a break from work and have started to push myself to get them done quicker, my phones been sent off for repairs so can't upload pictures for a while = /

been pretty hectic with work recently so should be back on track over the next few days, ill also see if i can borrow a camera to get some pictures of my progress (one cold one fully painted to what i expect the standard, and a warlock pretty much done)

As i said, this is a project for a battle brothers event so i intend to finish it else we can't go . _ .

So i threw myself into this project the other day after moaning about flash/mould lines on cold ones and built all of the cold ones i needed at this moment, i also assembled all my howling banshee's

On a EVEN better note i get my phone back tommorow so i'll upload pics : )

those ones will surely look good when painted...
(tries to ignore all the voices in my head saying how wonderfull wil be to try this) ...I...must...paint...my...iron...warriors....

(will I fall into the hands of the eldar? see in the next episode... or never)

List had a reshuffle;

1 Avatar (converted, painting atm)

2 x 6 guardian jetbikes (cold ones painted, riders need building)
2 Locks - built/painted

2 warwalkers, one's partially painted other's just basecoated


My partner for BB loves the avatar so. . i couldn't drop him, he doesn't fit with our speed army but, he's a nice distraction carnifex and he did eat face last couple of games he was in


OT note too, i have also finalised what my army will be for 1500 (when we aint doing BB)


Eldar;
- 2 Jetseers
- 2 jetlocks

- 2 x 6 Jetbike squads
- 2 x 5 rangers

- 1 crimson hunter ( i needed an excuse for a dragon)

- 2 warwalkers

Space wolves;
(hold the phone, wolves with dino's? its more of a giggle and also will lead into my next conversions)

1x Canis wolfborn (Idea being sketched up)

1 x 15 fen wolfs (Cyberwolf)
1 x 11 fen wolfs (Cyberwolf)

Let's just say. . im feeling like getting back to my wood elven roots. . .

As for the rest of what i promised my net's been down since and as of late i've been stuck at work again;
I have got pictures taken on my phone, i just need to find my cable and we'l be good to go on updates

So i've had a huuuuuuuge inactivity.

Unfortunately this has been due to a lot of factors, work mainly, missing BB due to said work and not being able to get the both of us off, linking into a depressive streak i had where i couldn't bring myself to draw, paint or even do much else

Excuses aside, where am i now?

Well i have played quite a few 40k games with my eldar army and i;ve enjoyed it, army list (built/painted) stands at;

Avatar (unused in list)

2 jetseers
2 jetlocks

10 jetbike (2 x 5 troops)

did nock around the idea of baron and hellions and thus;

Baron built not painted (including custom board)
10 hellions built not painted)

I also picked up a tantalus off a friend for £20 so wooo

tempted to use it as a crusader and make a eldar inquisitor (in name only)
