Who would get along better, night goblins and skaven or night goblins and ogres? I'm asking because I'm planning on making a themed army and I want it to make sense fluff wise.

Probably ogres as they are mercenaries and fight alongside anyone.

I think the NG and Skaven have fought a few wars in the past so have bad blood plus they are both sneaky gits who wouldn't trust the other one.

Not sure there haven't been some Night Gobin / Skaven team ups against Dwarfs in the fluffs, but these were just alliances of convenience.

Well, game rules side, the skaven and NG would. Because they are both Destruction.

If you ask me, fluff side, I don't see Ogres really having a problem with anyone that doesn't have a problem with them. If you give Ogres cookies, they will be your friends. Also, gnoblars are greenskins, just like NG. I doubt an ogre would see the difference, even though it would annoy the NG. Finally, Ogres are the most-travelled race in the world. There are races that travel more literally, but they just make outposts and don't interact with anyone, or even worse, attack them. Ogres show up at other races' outposts and are like, "I'm hungry, you got any jobs?" And what are you going to say?

Having an O&G army that uses Ogres in place of Trolls I think would be great. They could just be extra stupid Ogres or extra hungry maybe with some magic armor or very heavy armor. Likewise, an Ogre army with NG in place of gnoblar trappers or a scraplauncher (could use the same base but just make them a crapload of archers with a fanatic/mangler as the rhinox).

even Skaven don't trust other Skaven - in fact other Skaven know better than to trust Skaven.

Keep the Ogres supplied with fights and food and they should be good allies.

Skaven and Night Goblins are two very untrustworthy races. They also tend to inhabit the same sort of places, so there's always a bit of competition and fighting going on to lay claim to these places. They have teamed up to fight a common enemy in fluff before, usually Dwarves, but these alliances are normally short lived and there's usually fighting after the Dwarves have been routed/slain.

Ogres on the other hand will trust and ally with anyone, if the price is right.

Of course, Skaven and Night Goblins are two very wacky armies, so anything goes. Really, the limits are your imagination.

NG and Ogres definitely.

Ogres will fight for anyone as long as the pay is good.

Gnoblars are distant cousins to Goblins, so Ogres all the way.
