I was wondering if anyone had experience magnetising the new wraithguard/wraithblade models? I have 10 but not sure if I want to commit to one unit type. If so what size magnets do you recommend? Do they hold up well or fall apart fairly easily on the battlefield?

A link to the magnets on Ebay or webstore would be appreciated too.

Cheers,

Asuryan

I've magnetized a wraithguard/blade completely to check out the feasibility. I managed to do it, but due to shared arms for the axe/sword and the arm down the barrel for both guns just going for the shoulders doesn't do the job.

You can see a full list of magnet sizes I used and a bit of a writeup on my blog: Wraithguard weapon options

1/8" (2mm) or smaller magnets should do. You'll want to magnetize them at the shoulder. Here's a link to show you basically what you want. You'll want to search around to see if there's someone who can ship to your location cheaply.

I understand price of GW is an issue down under but the magnets likely won't be that much cheaper as an option. :/
