Hi all, I wonder how many of you would like your stories from Dakkadakka to also appear on my own website, www.imperial-literature.net? I've sorely neglected the site and need an influx of new talent. You will receive full credit for your work and I'll provide linkbacks to Dakkadakka for a bit of free cross-promotion.

If you have any work in progress or want to submit stories in part, that's fine by me, and you can edit stories (or send me edited versions of your stories) after they've been posted.

EDIT: I've split the story into 4 parts as seemed appropriate, to encourage people to read parts at a time since nobody ever reads large stories in one go unfortunately. I'll provide feedback when I've had a chance to re-read the story.

Hans sat comfortably against an old and long dead tree, his weapons prominently displayed but still within reach. He didn't.

"Wake up human", the soft amused voice was punctuated by a light kick to Han's feet.

Cool blue eyes snapped open and stared at the tall elf male standing above him, his dappled clothing making his outline seem indistinct against the forest background. His unbound hair was dark and the left hand side of his face was dominated by an impressively crafted tattoo - a swirling mass of whorls. He wore no armour, but a slender sword hung at his hip and he carried a bow loose in his left hand.

Thanks everyone, I will get around to adding your stories starting tonight. I'm going to create a staggered release system so that Imp Lit doesn't get flooded - I want each of you to get your time at the top of the home page.

+1 Exaltation for everyone who submits fiction.

EDIT: I will be regularly sending emails to everyone in the Imp Lit membership database, that's currently about 200 people. A shadow of its former self, and I can't promise feedback from members as they tend to browse for fiction rather than take part these days, but hopefully I can get the community going again so this will improve.

Right, Trondheim, since you generally seem to help people on Dakkadakka (I am sure you've reviewed some of my stuff), I'm posting your epic story Ashild on Imp Lit. Due to its size, I am going to have to post it in several parts. I am under real time constraints today so please reply with any editing you want me to do to it and I will try to get it done on Monday. The rest of the story will be posted in chunks at regular intervals. I have not been able to go through the text sorting paragraphs out so parts of it are blocks of text, unfortunately, due to the miracle of copy and paste. I will email the user database on Monday about your story once I've sorted the paragraphs.

OFFERING FEEDBACK TO YOU LOT

Everyone, I'm going to start printing stories from this forum and reading them/offering critique in my spare time. The critique may, time depending, be extensive, and in order to help you I will speak plainly (but not offensively) and you will need to be fairly resilient -- even the best of us needs to know our flaws and faults, but I will also find all your strengths and I will do my best to help you as much as possible.

This is pretty time consuming and I cannot offer regular services, I'll just do what I can when I can. IF YOU LIKE, I CAN POST MY CRIT ON THE FORUM IN YOUR STORY THREAD AS A KIND OF REVIEW.

Please help me back by reading my fiction and literally ripping it to shreds - I mean every plot hole, mis-spelling, awkward moment etc, but also remember to tell me what my strengths are and what you like, as well as what you'd like to see next from me.

Ah many thanks NoPoet, I appriacte the show of good will from your side. No, the story can be copied as it is. I do not think it needs any more work done on it, due to me reciving failry honnest critique from my readers whenevr I post something. And take it in your own time, no need to rush
