I had an opponent using Fateweaver and the Screamer-star (against my Fateweaver with the Dog-Star), and he posed the idea to me that Fateweaver's Warlord Trait would permit both of us to reroll the Warpstorm result on every turn. That is, if I didn't choose to reroll it on my turn, he could choose to reroll it on my turn, and vice versa.

Similarly, he posed to me that he could make me reroll a successful Grimoire roll, as the Staff of Tomorrow permits Fatey to reroll a single dice every turn (generally presumed to mean player turn). I wasn't down for that, but then I couldn't reroll his successful Grimoire rolls either.

Are these valid points? If one is possible, then must the other become possible?

Both his Warlord Trait, and artifact gives the controlling player the ability to re-roll. If I roll something, you have no permission to re-roll it.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

As above, its pretty clear you cannot re roll something you didnt roll. Put it this way, if you said to the wifey/parent you will re do the washing up/chores/laundry etc when you didnt do it in the first place, you think they would be impressed or pull you on the fact you didnt do it in the first place!. This is coming from a daemon player as well .
