I want to make this a competitive list but there are a few things that are just not an option. I'm not taking a wraithknight or serpent spam and I don't own many jetbikes. I've been playing mechdar since 4th ed. and serpent spam feels like a big slice of cheese now.

I always love warp spiders and now that they are badass I want to take advantage of how many of them I already own. I would only have to pick up one more box of spiders to field this list, and the amount of psuedo-rending str6 fire is extremely appealing (93 Str 6 shots if everything is in range counting the serpent shield/shuriken cannon too)

Please tear this list apart........ The only unit I'm having trouble with is the war walkers, i'm not sure how effective they'll be. I can always drop the shuriken cannon or singing spear on the bikes and just trade them out for another fire prism.

Really, there is nothing much to change... although those last 5 points just sit there unused, it seems wasteful but...nothing to do really.

The walkers are excellent if you outflank them to get the shuricannon in range. You could always give one a starcannon over shuricannon to help with AP2 needs. Out in the open they are the easy target compared to the serpents and prisms, so outflank seems best.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

maybe consider dropping one or both dire avenger squads down to 5 man, to fit in max 10 man spiders.

it's well worth it to find the points to upgrade the War Walkers to Starcannons or double Scatter Lasers. Otherwise you are wasting the 36" of the Scatter Laser, and War Walkers are too fragile to get in the enemy's face.

My original idea is that the war walkers would scout forward to get in range or outflank.

All I have to do is drop the singing spear on the farseer. I'll go ahead and make the change. Gonna put scatterlaser/starcannon on the walkers.

I'm looking forward to having 2 squads of warp spiders or dire avengers guided/prescienced every round.
