Hello, wondering if anyone can help me. I’m looking to get some 32mm scale miniatures for use in Level 7 escape. I have all the enemies and monsters sorted, I just need figures in 32mm of just normal people in modern day cloths (like the characters in zombicide for example). I thought they’d be easy to find…but they’re not. Any ideas would be much appreciated

Huh 32 is a bit of an odd choice, any reason you're not using 28mm?

I know right...According to privateer press that's the scale of the figures in Level 7 omega protocol (those are the figures I am also going to use in Level 7 escape - I just need the 4 characters)

Huh the difference is noticeable, but why not just use the 28mm? It's only a boardgame, so it's not like you're using TLOS. I don't know anyone who does 32 civies, only ones i know of who even touch that are Spartan games and i THINK wyrd.

Wyrd's "civies" wouldn't be modern or slightly futuristic. And 32mm is more common than you think. Standard scales are either 28mm true or heroic (a trulescale marine is closer to a 32mm model), 32mm, and some are going to 35mm. But it's all measure to the eyes of the figure.

OP check out Reaper's NOVA team http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/nova

They're 28mm, but without getting into MERCs those might be your best (and cheapest bet)

kind of....

Are you thinking 32mm tall or 32mm "to the eye". Most wargames figs are measured to-the-eye, so 32mm tall is close (perhaps only slightly taller than) a 28mm "scale" figure. Heroic is a measurement of bulk, not height, though some companies do use it to denote figures that are taller than they should be.

For 32mm to-the-eye figures, alot of heroclix are in that range, and most Reaper Chronoscope figures are 32mm. Not as many unarmed folks, but lots of figures wearing civilian clothes. My Chronoscope figs mostly tower over my 28mm stuff, though I still use them together. The Nova Corp figs that Alfndrate mentions are, IIRC, nearly 32mm from sole to eye.

The only complicating factor is that both Reaper and Heroclix are not completely consistent throughout the range, so being able to find scale shots online or seeing the figures in-person is pretty important. Good luck.

Any stated size from 28mm to about 32 or even 35mm in a push can often be considered the same thing with different amounts of marketing spin. Some people make tall, spindly "32mm" figures, some are bulky in every direction. Some 28mm models look better with another manufacturer's 32mm ones than with other 28s. Short of seeing them side by side, it's nearly impossible to judge.

Have a look at Hasslefree miniatures. They've got a good selection of civilians. There's also Heresy Miniatures, and Black Cat Bases sell Moonfleet Miniatures scientists:
