Read Bolter Drill. It is very clear as to hat it affects and does not affect.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

This forum is not a replacement for owning the codex I'm afraid. You'll just have to save up.

1) Please read the forum rules on spelling and grammar. Please take time to actually type full words and sentences, as it makes your posts easier to read
2) What you choose to do with your money is your business, not the forums. The forum is NOT a replacement for you purchasing the materials to continue your hobby
You do realise every codex you listed was old, yes? Tau was 4th edition, so prior to 2008, ditto chaos (one of the first codexs, before Orks, actually) and Space Marines was also the first of 5th edition, so approximately 2008.
It sucks that you just got into the hobby, however while YOU had only had the codex a year, most had had it longer, with a large number having had those codexs for 4 or mroe years. I know I have.
This hobby is cyclical; if you buy the codex now it is likely to last 4 years, as it has only just been released, as a minimum.

The SM-codex won't get a new edition for the next three years or so.
There is no reason to why you can't just buy it.
We are not here to replace your codex nor are we here to feed your.. posting.

Why is it that these kinds of threads tend to be started by someone who clearly does not know how to write?
But, anyways, as the others have mentioned, the cycle of codex updates will not be complete for a few years, so any codices you buy now will probably be valid for at least 4 years.

Or longer, as there is no telling if they will update a codex next time the cycle comes around, or they will even reprint it at all (WitchHunters, DeamonHunters, Black Templer) Yes I know they rolled BT in with C; SM and Deamons hunter became GK's. just making a point.

First of all - you didnt pay attention to the request to improve your spelling, punctuation and grammar
Secondly:
6th edition - 2012
5th edition - 2008
4th edition - 2004
3rd edition - 1998
Spotted a pattern yet?
By "clearly" I think we can safely assume "not based on any evidence by my limited experience, that flies in the face of reality"
Source - my own knowledge, plus wiki (I got back to 3rd without any referencing, whcih is either good or worrying...) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warhammer_40,000

Leave the guy alone and simply let the thread die, it has no purpose on this forum.

8th made it so I can no longer sway Tau onto the side of Chaos, but they will eventually turn aside from their idea of the Greater Good to embrace the Greatest of pleasures. |
