Why 9 men in the tac squads instead of full 10?

Sorry updated the assault squad they have 3 drop pods.
Also 9 is to let me have the dreads.
Dreads are just MM and PF and drop pod

I like this list setup. I might steal it for my Salamanders. I agree that the Heavy weapons slot might not be all it's cracked up to be. Even my MM that snapfire and are Mastercrafted tend not to do anything all game.

I like the list. I'd say practice will make this list better. Personal preference, list tweaks, and experience where and how to deploy is what's going to make this stronger.

Edit: There isn't anything incredibly scary/durable, so the enemy might not know what to force at, but after the first drop with combis, your list might not have the staying power/strong to keep hurting the enemy. Lists with Princes and Riptides, or any multiple threat army, might give you trouble. You simply won't be able to kill all 3+ MCs, etc.

Ya that is the list problem. I understand it is not the best list but I feel it can take most Armies and etc.

Ya HW seem pointless to me with drop poding you will live and get to use them or get charged and not be able to.

The 2 dreads will help I think. Also 80 Marines is still alot of dudes.

Thanks for all the input I am glad it seems like a fairly good list.

80+ bodies on the table is the big strength of this list. It's not simple to get rid of that many power armored bodies.

Boys before toys is great sometimes.

I like the list I agree not the best but fun to play. I agree also that the heavy weapons are not that useful on droppods I think the combi and special weapons are the best. Have you thought about flamers? If you drop right they could do hella hits and would be scary to assault.... Just a thought.... It would be nice for Tau gun lines... cheers and good luck;

If you want to play serious DP spam lists PEDRO KANTOR is the way, ALL you'll need are Sternguards, Tacticals/Assaulters with Grav. Just a lot of them

The assault Marines have 2 Flamers each.

I will also evetuanlly do an elite Predo army ill make that list soon.
