Subject: 1750 Saim-Hann Eldar List - using Iyaden supplement

I am mainly running this under Iyaden because the Eldar Warlord Traits suck compared to the Iyaden ones (thanks Matt Ward for the Cheese) otherwise it would be a Saim-Hann List
HQ
Autarch - Jetbike, Fusion Gun, Banshee Mask, Shuriken pistol, Shard of Anarus, Mantle of Laughing God - This is Warlord - though I could make one of the Wraithknights a warlord, but I don't know if that is the safer bet or not
Troops
Jet bikes 3 man
DA 5 man with waveserpent TL SL, Shuri cannon, holo field x 2
DA 5 man with waveserpent TL SL, TL shuricatapult and holofield
FA
Warp Spiders 7 man x #3
Heavy
Wraithknight double-D x #2
That is 1750 on the nosey.
Any thoughts...?

Solid list. The autarch can make good use of every single warlord trait, the worst one being the +1 to deny the witch. Awesome if you get spirit mark to boost your wraithknights.
Really just a saim hain list, but with better warlord traits. Nothing else needed.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.
Shine bright like Iyanden |

Thanks guys for your input. Saim-Hann was my first army after Halrequins back in '87, so they are my first love. I feel kind of dirty using the Iyanden book, but the Eldar warlord traits are so lame.
I like to have shurcannons on my serpents, I know some don't like them, but I like them and sometimes I do not want to fire my shield so having a nice S 6 gun with the SL is nice. It came down to points, I could lose the fusion gun for the extra shurikannon - but I really want my Autarch to be able to serve multiple rolls. He needs to be the focus of a lot of fire.
I had a practice game yesterday and got the reroll saves trait until one failed. It was nice as I was facing Ultramarine uberpsycher who allows his unit to ignore cover saves, that saved a lot of wounds. I did eventually take one, but was able to keep him occupied in CC after that on his turns so he could not get shot until he got into cc with the squad and instant deathed the psycher and a squad of warp spiders came in to kill the rest of the scouts. The spiders thinned the squad before the assault and made it very managible. Prettey much tabled the opponent. I was worried because he got first turn and was able to take out 2 of my 3 wave serpents by his top of turn 2. I was sweating.... But I had placed 2 warp spiders and 2 WK in reserve and deep struck them all on bottom of 2, they proceeded to wreck face after that.
I had a list with 3 wraith knights one with suncannon and SL, but then could only take 1 warp spider unit and even though I love the suncannon wraithknight - it just can't put out the damage that a warp spider squad can and it is not as versatile or even as survivable as they are...
