Is there any good way to get this in the UK? I had a look at Wayland games but they charge a lot to deliver these items.

SnM stuff have them and have a variety of delivery options. I've bought from them before, were fine.

Would it work to mix this with Regular miniature paint?

It sounds like an acrylic art medium, if it is, you can probably buy the art version from a graphic art supply shop.

I have several of these, I took some pics a while ago to show what they look like wet, dry and after shading so you can see what to expect from them. You can mix paint with them, or just paint over the top of them if you want the texture but not the colour. Oxid paste is a ~100% match to Vallejo fire red, I haven't checked to see if the others have good matches.
