Its been idiot week with the Daily Mail, Republican party and several other large organisations showing they can screw the pooch, and then come back to screw it again. However individuals still can compete.
Yet another stupid fethhead
Admittedly this happened a while ago, and is in the press not because of the incident but because the incident went to trial today. However it still counts as this is the first it has hit the media.
Metro Newspaper wrote:A husband-to-be made a hoax bomb call to his wedding venue, because he realised he had actually forgotten to book it.
Desperate Neil McArdle, from Kirkby in Merseyside, has appeared in court following his panicked call to St George’s Hall on the morning of his big day to tell them that a bomb was about to go off.
The 36-year-old only realised when it was too late that he had failed to complete the necessary forms, meaning that the venue had not been officially booked.
Panicked, he rang the Liverpool-based venue from a phone booth to tell them that a bomb ‘will go off in 45 minutes’ in order, he says, to buy himself more time.
His bemused bride, Amy Williams, turned up in her wedding dress to find the venue evacuated and swarming with bomb disposal teams.
