Subject: Remaking a SM army last played 4th

Hello all,
It's been about 4 or 5 years since I last played with my toy soldiers, and I fancied getting back into it. I stopped playing just as 5th edition rules were coming into effect. I haven't got the new rule book yet, I've only got myself the 6th C:SM. And I have a couple questions, some of which might be obvious but I want to play by WYSIWYG rules;
I used to have 2 tactical squads with Apothecaries as the Sergeants, I can't find this rule anymore, it used be under Chapter Traits, can I still use them?.
All my marines are armed with a bolt pistol and a bolter now, does that mean and they can switch weapons, fire the pistol then assault and they get an extra attack in CC?
I used to have a 9 man command squad with the Captain all fully laden with power weapons in a box, is this no longer allowed?
Am I wrong in thinking a standard bearer has lost a lot of some abilities, I thought they automatically wounded in assault phase, or something like that?
I don't see any mention of pintle mounted storm bolters, my tanks have them, I'm assuming they operate the same as the Storm Bolter vehicle upgrade?
Maybe some silly questions, but I thought I would ask just to make sure.
Cheers.

I'll answer what I can.

Apothecaries can no longer be taken as members of regular squads, only Command Squads. One of the FW variants (not sure which one or which book) allows you to upgrade Sgts to Apothecaries, but the army is based off of the 5th ed codex and has not been updated to 6th edition yet.

Yes.

You can no longer have 9-man Command Squads, but they can all (except for Apothecaries) take power weapons.
Am I wrong in thinking a standard bearer has lost a lot of some abilities, I thought they automatically wounded in assault phase, or something like that?
Not sure about 4th edition, but in 5th edition (and 6th) the standard adds +1 to your combat resolution. You are effectively treated as having caused an extra wound.

Page 72 of the main rulebook covers pintle-mounted weapons. For the most part, weapon mountings have been removed in the codices, so where before it would say "can take pintle-mounted storm bolter" it is now "can take a storm bolter".

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

For the apothecaries as sergeants, no, that's not a regular option anymore. When Forgeworld releases their update for the red scorpions you might get that option back.
Most marines have a pistol and a bolter, so they can choose which one they shoot. They won't have any extra attacks if they don't have a CCW in addition to the pistol.
The largest command squad can get is 5, you could get everyone with power weapons, except (that part's discussed heavily) the apothecary.
About Standard bearers you might be thinking of them making their squad count as having caused one more wound in combat (to determine who won). The standard doesn't do that anymore.
The storm bolter upgrade is represented by your pintle-mounted ones.

You're wrong on that bit. I just checked and none of the "standard" standards (chapter or company) gives that anymore. The special relic one does however.

Thanks for your replies, can I not give a vet a power sword then upgrade him to an Apothecary?

We don't know for sure. Some read it that you can, others that you can't.
The previous book was clear that you couldn't. So I'd consider that you can't, to be on the safer side. A FAQ would clarify this
